Playing games keeps the mind active and alert and is beneficial for maintaining mental agility. Games played with other people is a sociable pastime and is great fun without being stressful. It is also a good way to meet with like minded people and make new friends.

This group meets on the first Monday of the Month from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chinnor Pavilion.
Members are invited to take along a favourite game to play with other members and friends.

Cards meet twice monthly on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 2pm – 4pm at the Chiltern Room Village Centre.
At each meeting members decide what they would like to play and divide into suitably sized groups accordingly.
As an added bonus you can order a cup of tea or coffee from the café when you arrive. It is delivered to us at about 3 o’clock which helps to make the afternoon a very sociable occasion.

The Bridge group meets twice monthly (2nd and 4th Thursdays, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.) in Chinnor Village Centre.
It is not a beginners’ group, but aimed at those who know the rudiments of the game and have a desire to improve their game whilst playing in a convivial atmosphere. Bridge is a game where you never stop learning!

The Canasta group meets twice monthly (2 nd and 4 th Tuesdays, 2-4pm) in Chinnor Methodist Church Hall.
Canasta is a very sociable game, along the lines of Rummy. Many of the group played when it was popular in their youth and with a quick refresher soon got into the game. It is easy to pick up and beginners are welcome, often watching a session before joining in.

The Group meets on 2nd and 4th Wednesday afternoons in the Chinnor Community Pavilion, Chinnor playing fields from 14.00 to 16.00

RUMMIKUB brings people together ... closely reflecting our Chinnor u3a ethos and why we decided to set up our own Rummikub group on the first Thursday of the month. Meetings take place at Chinnor Methodist church hall between 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
