u3a Christmas Lunch - Monday 9th December 2024
Nearly 100 members came together, at The Oxfordshire, to celebrate 25 years of Chinnor & District u3a. The guest speaker was Alan Dixon, the first Chair in 1999, who treated the audience to a trip down memory lane as he talked about the creation of the u3a as a response to the Parish Council request to set up an organisation to help to alleviate social isolation of people who might be bereaved or post retirement.
Bring out those Christmas sweaters and Santa hats and join in the fun at our next monthly meeting! We would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and the very best for 2025.
