The group hosted a fantastic afternoon meeting on 22nd September
Brian Fitzgerald was a really interesting speaker, it was a popular subject (annd of course the answer was YES) and the Chiltern Room at the Village Centre was packed !!!

Understand the know how behind more complicated DIY tasks and projects
Exchange information about safe working practices;
Share practical skills
Reduce waste by repairing rather than replacing
Swap tools and expertise
practical demos eg fixing a dripping tap; rewiring a plug; sharpening tools; using a drill safely; basic wall‑fixings (raw plugs, screws, anchors); simple electrical repairs
Get together for more formal presentations and to share projects and experiences.
